The Colony Lions Club Flag Program

The Colony Lions Club, assisted by local community groups, will place a 3’x 5’ flag in your front yard for 6 holidays per year, and pick it up again after the holiday. A plastic pipe will be buried in your front lawn permanently, flush with the ground, to hold the flagstaff. The flag and staff will remain the property of The Colony Lions Club.

All profits will support community and Lions Club International projects. For $70.00 per calendar year, (not pro-rated by holiday, renewal date Jan 1) The Colony Lions Club will provide and install the pipe, provide the flag, store it properly when not in use, and deliver and pick up the flag for the following holidays:

• Presidents Day (Third Monday in February)
• Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day (First Monday in September)
• Patriots Day (September 11)
• Veterans Day (November 11)

Special rates apply to 4 or more flags placed in front of one business or sub-division entrance.

Your contribution goes directly to The Colony Lions Club Foundation, a 501 (c)3. The Colony Lions Club supports many local charities and International Service Projects approved by Lions International.

Subscribe to The Colony Lions Club Flag Program, where six times a year, US Flags will be placed in front of your home or business. Flag display days include: President’s Day – Memorial Day – Independence Day Labor Day – Patriots Day – Veterans Day. On each of the above dates, a quality 3′ x 5′ American flag on a 10′ pole will be installed in front of your home or business. The Colony Lions Club will charge $70 per year, billing you each year thereafter for subscription renewal. Four or more flags at one business or HOA are $50 per year for each flag. Your contribution goes directly to The Colony Lions Club Foundation, a 501 (c)3. The Colony Lions Club supports many local charities and International Service Projects approved by Lions International. The goal of The Colony Lions Club Flag Program is to see “Old Glory” in front of every home and business in and around The Colony on these important dates in our history. Join us in celebrating our national holidays by flying the Red, White, and Blue! Paid subscriptions must be received at least two weeks prior to a flag holiday to ensure that you will have a flag on that holiday.
